A tightly wound dragon caught mid-motion, coiling through clouds with claws extended and eyes locked forward. The detail in the scales and flow gives it weight, while the surrounding peonies soften the aggression just enough. It feels alive — like it could shift at any second — balanced between elegance and pure force.

Drawn from traditional Japanese irezumi, dragons are seen as protectors and bringers of balance, tied to water, sky and natural forces. The peonies, often called the “king of flowers,” represent wealth, beauty and boldness — a classic pairing that blends power with refinement.

This piece is about controlled dominance. Knowing your strength but not needing to prove it. The coiled posture suggests readiness — not chaos, but intention. It carries energy around protection, confidence and moving with purpose rather than reaction.

Works best across larger, flowing areas — full sleeve, thigh or back piece. The coiled shape wraps naturally around the body, making it ideal for placements that allow the movement to spiral and build as you move.
